Benaa Elmosleh Academy Celebrates the Graduation of Its First Girls’ Cohort
Benaa Elmosleh Academy celebrated the graduation of its first girls’ cohort upon completing Level Two, through a special event that brought together Islamic learning, creativity, entertainment, and sisterhood in a joyful and engaging atmosphere.
The celebration brought together the students and their mothers and featured a variety of activities and programs designed to celebrate the students’ achievements, reflect on their learning journey at the academy, and provide an enjoyable experience that combined education, creativity, and meaningful interaction.
Mothers’ Program
The mothers’ program featured a variety of engaging activities, including an exciting Islamic knowledge competition between two teams of academy students.
The competition covered several areas of Islamic studies:
Aqeedah (Islamic Creed)
Fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence)
Seerah (Prophetic Biography)
Hadith
The mothers took part by cheering for and supporting their daughters’ teams, creating an enthusiastic and interactive atmosphere throughout the competition.
The program also included an introduction to Benaa Elmosleh Academy, highlighting its mission, educational approach, and vision.
The mothers’ program concluded with a special workshop titled:
“Bil-Hadawah… A Journey of Reconnection: Embracing Patience and Self-Compassion to Raise Our Children with Calmness and Steadfastness.”
The workshop explored strategies from ACT & Art Therapy, including a “Collage Art Healing Activity,” and was presented by Inas El-Badawy, Mental Health and Family Counseling Specialist.
Girls’ Program
The girls enjoyed a variety of creative and artistic workshops under the theme “Design It Yourself.”
Each student had the opportunity to choose three workshops from a range of creative activities, including:
Wood Decoupage
Pearl Bead Bag Making
Light Clay Lamp Design
Cake Decorating
Medal/Keychain Design
The program also featured a Coffee & Snack Corner, providing the girls with a relaxing space to enjoy refreshments and unwind.
In addition, the students participated in an engaging Islamic Escape Room, combining fun, teamwork, problem-solving, and an Islamic-themed experience.
The celebration was held at Churchill Meadows Community Center – Multipurpose Room, creating a warm and memorable setting for the students, their mothers, and the academy community.
The event marked an important milestone in the journey of the academy’s first girls’ cohort and celebrated their dedication and achievements throughout Level Two, while encouraging them to continue their journey of learning, personal growth, and building a strong and conscious Muslim character.
