An Islamic educational academy for boys and girls aged 10–20  in Western societies

Introduction

Benaa Elmosleh  Academy has announced the launch of its work in Canada, offering an integrated educational and character-building model for the children of Muslims in Western societies — one that unites the constants of the faith with the realities of contemporary life, and aims to raise a generation that lives by the Qur'an and acts upon it.

About Academy

The Academy is founded on a firm conviction: that reforming our condition begins with building the human being — genuinely, not superficially. Intellectually through knowledge, spiritually through worship, morally through virtue, and socially through participation — so that the student becomes righteous in himself and a reformer for others.

The Academy serves students aged 10 to 20who have a working grasp of Arabic fundamentals and have previously attended a Qur'an memorization or Islamic sciences programme. Family involvement is a condition of enrolment: parents are expected to follow their child's progress alongside the instructor.

The curriculum comprises ten core subjects — Qur'an, Creed (Aqeedah), Jurisprudence (Fiqh), Hadith, Prophetic Biography (Seerah), Purification of the Soul (Tazkiyah), Arabic Language, Da'wah, Islamic History, and Contemporary Thought & Culture — delivered across Five stages:. By the final stage, students are able to teach the material to others, respond to doubts raised against it, and present Islam to non-Muslims in a manner consistent with the faith's principles.

The Academy's work extends beyond academic instruction. It gives particular attention to the contemporary intellectual challenges facing Muslim youth in the West — including atheism and the crisis of identity — alongside a sustained focus on the deeds of the heart and consistency in daily worship.

Sheikh Ehab Al-Ajrami

"There is an urgent need today for those who can teach Muslim children their religion correctly — in a way that holds together the constants of the faith and the changing realities of life. We do not seek to isolate our children from their world; we seek to fortify them within it."
